02:07 pm - The Gig: Thursday [11-5-09]
Helen was at The Gig today, carefully tending to the horses. They were in a rather feisty mood today and their antics made her laugh!

05:18 pm - Room 420: Saturday afternoon [8-29-09]
Helen knew that Sam's leaving meant that she'd probably be getting a new roommate. She hadn't known it meant she'd be getting a new room. So it was a fairly grouchy Helen who began moving all of her things down one floor.

It wasn't that she really owned all that much, but the two trunks of books were a pain to bump down a flight of stairs.

She began organizing and setting things up the way she liked them between trips and had to admit that she had a decent view from her window. Still, it didn't mean she had to be happy with the move as yet. She wondered if this Chloe Saunders was new or merely someone she wasn't familiar with.

[ooc: Open door and post - especially for the new roommate if she's around.]

09:22 am - Room 501: Thursday morning [9-25-08]
Helen rolled over in bed sleepily. She didn't have any classes so there was no reason to wake up and every reason to just stay here warm and cozy - something she'd never been allowed to do back at the temple.

And yet... there was something niggling at her. Some sense that something was wrong. She sat up pushing the hair out of her eyes and froze. She was definitely not herself.

It didn't take her long to figure out what that something was and that was enough to get her up and checking herself (himself?) out in the mirror. She was really quite a good looking guy and her body... well... it definitely seemed very... responsive. She'd have to find a private place and maybe experiment a little. Somewhere where she wasn't likely to have a roommate to freak out.

[Open to the roomie, if he/she wishes, or anyone else who might have reason to stop by.]

07:02 pm - Helen's Room: 501: Wednesday evening [8-27-08]
Helen was sprawled out on her bed, door propped wide open, avidly reading one of the trashy romances Seregil had helped her find.

They were definitely different from anything the priests had ever given her to read and she was finding them quite fascinating. Even if the writing often left a bit to be desired.

[Both door and post are open!]

08:55 am - Temple of Uquar: Two Days Ago
"No. I don't want to go," Helen said firmly, letting her hair fall to cover her face - an old habit she hadn't resorted to since she and Jamie and the others had chased Them out of the worlds.  "I'm supposed to stay here and be the Haras-Uquara.  Haven't I spent enough time wandering through random worlds?"

Oh, this is going well... )

08:41 am - OOC: All About Helen: Info Post
Helen's from the book The Homeward Bounders by Diana Wynne Jones, which sadly very few people have read and which, even more sadly, seems to be out of print at the moment (though it's pretty easy to find a used copy.

Anyway... Here's how the story goes... )

I apologize in advance for any grouchiness and rudeness. I'm much nicer than she can be, so do feel free to poke me if she's bugging you.
