10:59 pm - Walking The Bounds [Thursday 12-1-11 Fandom Time]
Helen had managed to cut her way through the world walls when the Bounds failed on their last two worlds, but when she'd attempted to try it here there just didn't seem to be anyplace that she could find another world.
Jamie yelled down to her from the top of the rise off to the west, but before she could make her way to him he was just... gone. In his place was an emptiness - black, amorphous, and slowly spreading across the horizon. She stared for a moment, suddenly realizing what must have happened to all the worlds that had disappeared from the Bounds.
She quickly headed away from the blackness, whispering a soft prayer to Uquar for her friend through her tears as she ran. The next Bound she found opened onto more nothingness and she swore, backing away and turning to run in yet another direction.
When it was clear that she could neither outrun it nor escape to another world, she pulled out her phone and placed one last phone call. After the call she pulled Kianah out of her pouch and held her close, whispering soothingly to her, the small fennec fox snuggling in with complete trust.
Then she turned to face the darkness, head held high. It could take her, but she would face it with courage.
And then there was no girl, no fox, no hill - nothing at all.
[ooc: And this is the last from Helen. She will not be returning after the Nothing.]

04:01 pm - Room 420: Wednesday Afternoon [8-24-11]
Helen had put it off and delayed as long as she could, but if she didn't leave by tonight she wouldn't be able to connect with Jaimie before he world-walked to a place that the portals here didn't seem to reach. It had taken a lot of thinking and planning to figure out what to do when she had to leave - and a lot of fingers crossed that the timing of Jaime's visit to his current world would work out. Still, her oldest friend was within portal reach for the first time since Helen's arrival and he was more than happy to have company as he Walked the Bounds.
And maybe somewhere along the way she'd find a place she'd like to remain - or wander long enough that she was once again welcome at home.
She packed the last few things she'd need into her pack and took a moment to stare out the window. She was going to miss Fandom. Especially the horses. And James.
[OOC: This is Helen's final post in Fandom. Open for anyone who'd like to say goodbye.]

10:50 am - OOC: Just an FYI from Helen and Millie
I am not getting any notifications - haven't for quite a while. I've mostly stopped doing much RPing since I don't have time to keep checking all of my stupid accounts over and over again. So bloody annoying.
I hope they fix this mess soon.

09:07 pm - Room 420: Saturday Night [12-11-10]
After being talked into leaving Jareth's castle and escaping the labyrinth before it collapsed, Helen had ignored the gathered group of rescuers and the rescued and headed straight for her room.
First she'd gone and showered, scrubbing herself till her skin felt raw, then she'd retreated to sit on the end of her bed, wrapped in a warm robe, to stare out the window and think about the past week. She had quite a lot to think about after all.
[ooc: Open for the roommate, obviously, or anyone else who might have reason to stop by.]

07:43 am - OOC: Availability or lack thereof
I apologize for having slowly disappeared here over the past couple of weeks. Home and work got insane and I've been terribly ovecommitted theatre wise. And then my health issues took a big turn for the worse and then my work laptop got a nasty virus and... yeah.
Anyway... after this weekend I'm down to one show in production (through next weekend), one show in rehearsals and 3 dinner theatres coming up. (Yes, this is significantly 'down', frighteningly enough.) So I may actually find the time, energy, and brainpower to start catching up again.
